How to make Supply: Iron

Iron Ore, Iron Ingot and Supply: Iron are different items. Obtain ore, turn it into ingots, then use ingots in the supply recipe. Board in this recipe is a different item from Wooden Plank.

Use the woodworking workbench recipe

At Woodworking Workbench I or II, the listed Supply: Iron recipe takes 6 Iron Ingots, 4 Boards and 8 Bronze Nails. It requires Iron Forge technology and Building mastery 4. Wooden Plank cannot replace Board, and raw Iron Ore cannot replace Iron Ingot. The listed recipe does not establish a fixed output quantity.

Make the ingots first

The listed Furnace II recipe consumes 3 Iron Ore and 30 Fuel for a base output of 3 Iron Ingots. It also requires Iron Forge and Smithing mastery 5. Once started, the furnace runs this recipe on its own. The source does not establish a universally fastest route to the ore or starting trader stock.

The Supply: Iron entry also lists an Assembly Bench I route with different inputs. Its recipe table gives those materials; the woodworking amounts above apply only to the woodworking route.
